As we reported earlier, it is learned that iPad 3 may get released on January 26, 2012. After the leaked information about the date there has been much speculation about the features the iPad 3 may have.

iPad 3 & 4G:
Apple should have brought the 4G connectivity feature to iPad 2, but it missed the ulta-high-speed connection. iPad 3 may have this feature to compete effectively against Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
iPad 3 With Bigger Display:
It is high time for Apple to quit featuring 9.7-inch screen as it is found in the iPad 2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is offering a screen size of 10.1-inch, so Apple need to work out in this part for its iPad 3 to remain on the top in the table market.
iPad 3 & Amazon Kindle Fire:
If Apple to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1, it also has to compete with Amazon’s Kindle Fire, which has smaller display of 7-inch. Apple need to acknowledge to offer a smaller iPad 3 too this year. It will be ideal for many folks who don’t want to carry bulky tablet.
Siri In iPad 3:
The virtual personal assistant software Siri of Apple is the biggest USP for iPhone 4S. It may also be found in iPad 3, and that too an improved version of Siri.

The Thunderbolt hardware technology is available only in Apple’s Mac line, which provides input and output over the same port. There is possibility of this hardware to be available in iPad 3.

Over the last several years it has been found that Apple keeps the price of the upgraded model same as its previous versions. So, probably iPad 3 will hit the stores at the price line of iPad 2.
