Is iPad 3 expected to release in 2012? Will it be in spring 2012 or in January? Fresh leak reports that there will be two new iPads in January 2012. Some websites such as International Business Times writes that Apple is unveiling iPad 3 next month. The iDevice giant will unveil it at Macworld iWorld conference.

Sources at supply chain partners said to an online newspaper that Apple iPad 3 is set to be released on January 26.

It is also learned from sources that iPad 2 will compete with Kindle Fire of Amazon in the price-sensitive market and the iPad 3 to focus on mid-range and high-end segments. Well, does this mean that the price of iPad 2 is to drop drastically?

DigiTimes reports that iPad 3 to feature better battery life that will double the backup time than iPad 2. The Taiwanese news site mentioned that the next-gen iPad to have 6,500mAh battery.

iPad 3 is learned to have 9.7-inch screens and would feature Dual-LED light bars that is to increase the brightness of the panels. It will also have A6 quad-core processor, 8MP camera, and 1536×2408 screen.

So far, the market share of iPad 2 is still very strong. In last quarter of this year about 15 million units were released though there was a decline in its sale in previous quarter between July and September. However, to improve the sales growth, the company need to launch iPad 3 as early as Spring 2012.

On the day when they have announced that iPad 3 will be released in 30 countries on May 12, 2012 they haven’t mentioned anything about the Chinese Market. I personally think, the Chinese Apple fans will need to wait atleast for one more month to get their hands on New iPad 3.
